On “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” Zack Morris took the stage, complete with white high-tops, acid wash jeans and his legendary giant cell phone. Of course, he was introduced as Mark Paul Gosselaar on Jimmy Fallon, but he explained:

“I had to change my name to Mark-Paul Gosselaar because there was already a Zack Morris in SAG,” Zack Morris said on Jimmy Fallon’s show.

Time out

Of course, the highlight of Mark Paul Gosselar on Jimmy Fallon was when he proved he was the real Zack Morris by using his time-honored time-out trick. He also agreed to attend Jimmy Fallon’s planned “Saved by the Bell” reunion.

Zack Morris has become an actor who goes by the name Mark Paul Gosselar, he told Jimmy Fallon. His new show is called “Raising the Bar,” and as we all know, Mark Paul Gosselaar hasn’t needed a cash loan since “Saved by the Bell” because he’s had steady work.

Bringing in the dough

At the age of 12, Mark Paul Gosselaar was already landing bit parts on TV shows. He hit the big time in 1988, at 14, when he landed the part of Zack Morris on “Saved by the Bell,” which was then called “Good Morning Miss Bliss.”

After that series and “Saved By the Bell: College Years,” Mark Paul Gosselaar took on a few small movie roles, and later landed a regular gig on “NYPD Blue,” which kept the paychecks flowing in steadily.
