The word friend can bring about mixed feelings to so many of us. So many memories both bitter and sweet, so many incidents that bring about a smile on your face, make you roll on the floor laughing and a few that you might never want to recall.
Friends are the family we choose for ourselves. Knowingly or unknowingly so many of them become a part of our lives adding beauty to it in their own ways. It is only after sometime when we try recalling as to how we came to know them, can linger back some funny incidents or may be you might not even remember how you got to know a person but you guys could be the best of friends.
Life is weird sometimes, but one lesson learnt is to enjoy life no matter what, as one might not get that part of the day that has gone by. And it is always nice to believe that whatever happens happens for good. By thinking so you might not really feel all that sad for the bad happenings in life, after all life has to go on and this too shall pass.
Friends were meant for different things at different ages. As a toddler we shared our play toys and candies with them. You always wanted that toy your best friend had. In primary classes they were the ones with whom you could play running catching, hide and seek, share your lunch. As you grew older, in your teens they were your best confidantes of your crushes and the ones who could give you tips on how to have a great date. As time passed by they were there to guide you with their experiences, help you choose a career and so on… Friends are always there throughout our lives, but the bond we share with them at various stages of life gets one thinking.
