Jeffrey Zients, the deputy director of the Obama administration’s Office of Management and Budget, touted the federal pay lock-up plan – which must still be approved by Congress – as a major belt-tightening. It seemed like that was just a little too dramatic for President Obama. He hoped that instead things like a moratorium could be put in place.

Some say the symbolic gesture is just what the country needs right now. It seems like the government is extending a peace offering. That might be how it’s taken.
Working for the govt pays large
The number of federal employees making over $150,000 a year was discovered by USA Today to have gone up. Since President Obama took office, the number has doubled while in the past five year it grew tenfold. However, much of the recent swell has included doctors at veteran’s hospitals. With the 2 wars at hand for the United States of America, there has been need for more. The workload has gone up.
