Tea Partier gives kids expose on The Liberal Clause

From the ashes of Election 2010 comes a Tea Partier named Hedrick. He’s feeling very Grinch-like. He did not win in Washington State, however he has written a highlighted children’s holiday yarn called "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh". As Newser puts it, this can be a classic "How Obama Stole Christmas" tale where the thinly-disguised Barry the Liberal Claus, Mrs. Lichelle Claus, Elf Peloosi and Mr. Snore steal Christmas. Thanks to Tea Party kids and the words of the Christmastution, all’s conservatively well that ends well. $20 paid by Obama to steal Christmas

Hedrick told the Portland Mercury that the North Pole Treasury is bankrupts so the Liberal Claus Barry borrows anywhere he can "eliminates toy specialists and commits other atrocities." He has copies of the Christmastitution waved in his face. This ends up leaving Christmas to the student loan debtas Barry gets out of there. The underlying message, said Hedrick, is “Never forget that free goodies from liberal elves often come at a price.”

Satire used so even children understand

David Hedrick may have written "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh" in reaction to what he views as liberal indoctrination of America’s youth, however many critics question whether leaning to the opposite extreme is appropriate. Many say that children should not be taught about politics or religion, although they go together the majority of the time. These consist of Nicolas Humphrey, Daniel Dennett and Richard Hawkins. Labels are shown in an example that biologist Dawkins put together. It’s different to be a "child of Christian parents" than as a "Christian child". Wikipedia says:

"Dawkins hopes that the phrase will also make kids aware that belief is not something that is inherited automatically like eye color; that they do not have to follow within the religious footsteps of their family. He has tried to raise people’s consciousness of this matter, and hopes that phrases like ‘Christian child’, ‘Muslim child’, or ‘atheist child’ will ‘grate like fingernails on a blackboard.’"

David Hedrick's "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh" doesn't have sales numbers yet. Nobody knows if it will strike a chord or end up being a problem for kids.
