If you’re still not sure whether it’s time for you to get debt consolidation help, here are some signs.

Paying debt with debt

If you are accruing new debt to pay off existing debt, this is a huge red flag. If you have to use your credit card to make car payments, pay off bills that are headed for collections or finally settle up with the heating company, that’s a sign that you need help.

If you are paying off payday loans with more payday loans or, worst of all,  using credit cards to pay off other credit cards, don’t walk, run to your nearest debt counselor’s office.
